formation history
of the association

It all began in 2006 with a long stay by the then 19-year-old Berliner, Bo Geiger, in a children's and orphanage home in South India called Snehalayam (translated as 'Roof/House of Hope'). At that time, the home provided a simple but caring home for approximately 30 children, saving them from the harsh life on the streets of India. However, there was a lack of funds for the children's education or further support for their everyday life.

Bo Geiger's impressions inspired many friends in Berlin upon his return.

Together, they developed the idea of improving the financial situation in the children's home by founding a support association. Since then, the association has steadily grown and has attracted a diverse group of motivated and inspiring individuals.
